Adult Day and Family Rec Center
At Mimi’s Place we understand that the family dynamics are changing, and we need to offer services that fit those changes.
Adult Day Services:
Designed for those 55+ living in and around Geauga County who need assistance due to Alzheimer’s and Dementia related disorders.
Services are offered in hourly segments (with a two-hour minimum) Mon-Fri. as well as some weekends, evenings and holidays.
Our programs are shorter in duration and client centered for a more positive outcome.
The staff to client ratio is smaller here to provide more one on one care in a safer and nurturing environment.
Our programs include but not limited to, physical and mental stimulation, music therapy, art therapy and educational programming.
General Rec Services:
Although our focus at Mimi’s Place is our Senior Population, we want to take a more family-oriented approach to our programs. We offer programs for seniors, adults and multi-generational family members. Age restrictions will be listed on all our programming.
We offer art classes, group exercise classes, dances, educational programs, intergenerational, community programs and more.

For Adult Day Services:
Plan for 30 minutes to meet with a staff member where you will see our program area, go over activities and discuss your family’s individual needs. Participant does not need to be present for the tour.
Once the tour is complete you will have the opportunity to schedule a registration appointment.
Registration appointments last approximately one hour and the participant must be present.
Adult Day Program Registration cost: 45.00
Program must be used within 3 months of registration.
